10.35pm tonight on BBC1 is a programme entitled "Olympic Dreams" which tonight focuses on Shanaze Reade who, as some of you may know is double UCI World Champion at BMX racing.

BMX makes its olympic debut at Beijing next month and is proving to be one of the most exciting sports to watch. I was lucky enough to see Shanaze in action back in May at the UCI BMX Supercross series in Copenhagen and to say that she leaves the rest of the field standing is an under statement!

This TV series is a well-made  and thoughtful series and quietly focuses on the sheer hard work and financial and personal sacrifice of the atheletes.

Let's hope the right people at the South Holland District Council are also watching............

Regards

p.s. It was good to see Adam's letter in todays issue of The Lincolnshire Free Press and this should raise the profile of our club in a very positive way.
