William Wins - Adam CrashesWilliam Hare from Spalding CC won the first race at Barkstone Heath, Will managed to get on the back of the main group and had a whole lap ahead of the main field.It was not such a good race for myself, Ian and I worked well in a breakaway, but ended up being caught with 6 laps to go. I then crashed in the final sprint, hitting a wall of tyres near the final bend. After a long night at Pilgrim I'm now off the bike for a few weeks with a broken collar bone. 
Also well done to Oliver, Reece and Matt who all raced well. Thanks to everyone that helped Nicky with the bikes ect..last night. I will be coaching crash survival at the next Go-ride.

Despite your crash it was good to see your right elbow was working fine last night!
Good luck with your recovery and make sure you come on the first Tuesday you possibly can as there are plenty of people who want to go faster than you for the first time! Cheers |
