Welwyn Track Racing 12 JuneA lovely summers evening with a light breeze greeted 4 Spalding Riders on Friday evening for the Welwyn Garden City Track League. All 4 Spalding riders rode very well. Tom Neale finished 8th in the Scratch race,4th in the Devil, 5th in the Points Race and 3rd in the Handicap. Oliver Fensom took 2nd in the scratch, 2nd Devil, and 2nd Points Race. Harry Bellars was 5th in the Scratch race, 4th in the Devil, and Finished the evenings racing off with a win in the Handicap race. Young Matt Ellis was 4th in the Scratch race, 1st in the Handicap, 4th in the Devil and 4th in the Final group Handicap.
