Strong head winds greeted four of Spalding Cycling Clubs riders on Saturday for the Kings Lynn 25 mile time trial. The strong winds together with a very rolling course made for extremely hard days racings.

Young Spalding rider Harry Bellars aged 13 took the top honours in the juniors, winning the 25mile event in a time of 1hr 20mins 02seconds, closely followed by team mate 12 year old Sam Bentley who completed the course in 1hr 22.42. This was the first 25 mile time trial for both young riders.

In the seniors race Spalding rider Adam Ellis only managed 10th place with only 8 seconds between 10th and 5th place, Adam finished in 59.42. Spalding Veteran rider Gary Bentley finished in 1hr 14.34.
