I have an application form that can be used by any club member who wants to register for the first time for annual membership to British Cycling to allow them to race BC events (road races, cyclocross, grasstrack etc). Depending on the catagory applied for it can allow discounted or free membership fees. For example, as a senior I paid £13 for bronze last year but this would give free bronze membership to new members. Full race licences to enable regional or national event racing are £32 for seniors.
The discount is valid for applications received before 30th June 2010.
Let me know if you are interested and I will send a copy of the form by email as an attachment (send me your email address).
This doesn't apply to Time Trials, which for all those new to cycling, fall under Cycling Time Trials (CTT) rather than British Cycling (BC) rules.
Clear? I hope so - it's taken me 3 years to work it out and I may still be wrong - senior members please comment if so!!!
Gary
